General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)

Information on data protection according to EU regulation 2016/679

This page informs you how allpccloud GmbH handles user data and how you can exercise your rights on data protection when using the allpccloud web service.

It must be distinguished between two types of users of our web service – we call them clients and shoppers. Clients have a direct business contact to us, the  allpccloud GmbH, whereas shoppers do not – they normally are clients of our clients and use our web service indirectly. If you have been forwarded to this page via an allpccloud purchase form, you are most probably a shopper. Please read this page carefully and check out which case applies to you.

Even more info on data protection can be found here.

Data privacy information for clients

Who are clients?

Clients are subscribers to the allpccloud web service. They use our configuration software to describe the products they want to offer and specify the configuration steps which must be carried out. Clients normally have own web sites where our configuration software is embedded via an <iframe>. This embedding is seamless; for a visitor of this site (a potential “shopper”) this is normally not visible.

What client data is stored?

Since clients are in a direct business connection with allpccloud GmbH we store client-related data as long as this connection persists. This data is:

  • Client name and post address
  • Telephone and E-Mail data
  • Subscriber balance
  • Product data and configuration transactions.

This data is necessary for proper operation of our web service. We contact our clients on regular basis e.g. to inform about shopper activities or send invoices.

Clients can download this data in a well known file format. When the client terminates membership at allpccloud GmbH the data is deleted and cannot be restored without prior manual backup. All his shopper data is deleted as well. WE DO NOT GIVE AWAY CLIENT DATA TO THIRD PARTIES AND WE NEVER WILL DO THIS WITHOUT EXPLICIT AGREEMENT (Exception: law enforcement agencies in case of probable cause of a criminal activity).

Data privacy information for shoppers

Who are shoppers?

Shoppers are clients of our clients. They normally use the configuration tools on our clients’ web sites and normally do not know that they in fact use the allpccloud web service since its embedding is seamless. Shoppers do not have a business connection with allpccloud GmbH; for them our respective clients are the visible contact persons.

What shopper data is stored?

allpccloud evaluates shopper data and makes it available to our respective clients. This data is:

  • Client name and post address
  • Telephone and E-Mail data
  • Payment methods
  • Eventually payment data (e.g. bank connection in case of debit payment)

This data is necessary for proper operation of our web service. It is used to generate order documents (offers or invoices) which are sent to clients if an order has been triggered. If a configuration is aborted no shopper data is asked and clients will not be informed. A client has access to the list of his shoppers; he can download it and also delete single shopper data.

Shopper data is only visible to respective clients and allpccloud GmbH. WE NEVER GIVE AWAY ANY SHOPPER DATA TO THIRD PARTIES (Exception: law enforcement agencies in case of probable cause of a criminal activity). In case of inactivity all shopper data is deleted within 14 days. Exception: The shopper agrees to store his data without time limit. This must explicitly opted in in a purchase form and is convenient if the shopper plans to make more orders in future.

Shoppers can download this personal data in a well known file format. They can also ask respective clients or allpccloud directly to do this (support [at] allpccloud.de). When a client terminates membership at allpccloud GmbH also shopper data is deleted and cannot be restored without prior manual backup. A shopper can ask the client or allpccloud directly to delete all his personal data.

allpccloud does never contact shoppers directly. All communication to a shopper must be done by respective clients.

Meta data

Meta data is in brief data that is created during normal usage of a web site or -service, e.g. the visitor’s IP address or browser settings. Meta data can be used to identify a visitor even without asking for user data explicitly. allpccloud GmbH does not log IP addresses of visitors of the page http://www.allpccloud.com.

allpccloud GmbH does not store meta data of shoppers. If a configuration process is aborted allpccloud is not able to track the user if he has not explicitly entered data in a purchase form.

Cookies

Cookies are small data strings that are stored in the browser data of an internet user. Cookies are assigned to a specific domain, so the web site www.example1.com cannot read cookies of www.example2.com.

allpccloud GmbH uses cookies for one purpose only: You can choose to store user name and password in your browser so you do not have to re-enter this data each time you log in at allpccloud – either as client or as shopper (Remember me – checkbox). This is a convenient function and is not necessary for working with the allpccloud web service. The cookie expires after one year of inactivity and can also be deleted manually in your browser settings.
